Voice physiotherapy
in Perth & Online

Singers, performers, musicians, podcasters, and professional speakers all have one thing in common: your voice is your instrument. When something feels off, strained, or painful, it doesn’t just affect your sound; it affects your confidence, performance, and ability to work.

Brittany, our senior physiotherapist, is one of Australia’s most trusted vocal physios and understands just how valuable your voice is. She’s passionate about helping people who rely on their voice to keep it healthy, strong, and sustainable, whether you’re performing regularly, recording, speaking for work, or managing vocal fatigue or pain.

How a voice physiotherapist can help you

A voice physiotherapist can help singers, professional speakers and performers with:

  • Throat pain, e.g. Irritable larynx syndrome and globus pharyngeus

  • Vocal discomfort linked with singing, speaking, or prolonged voice use

  • Vocal strain and fatigue

  • Voice changes and dysfunctions related to workload or overuse, e.g. muscle tension dysphonia or vocal nodules

  • Symptoms secondary to vocal fold pathologies

  • Neck, jaw, TMJ or shoulder tension affecting voice use

  • Performance-related pain, tension or fatigue

Why singers choose our vocal physio

As a voice physio, Brit has spent years in the theatre and performance community helping singers, musicians, and professional speakers worldwide to strengthen and care for their voice.

She knows vocal pain and injuries extend beyond the throat, and uses a personalised approach that considers posture, muscle tension, breathing patterns, and vocal use.

While Brit can help soothe vocal pain and strain, she also teaches her clients how to independently manage the physical demands of speaking, singing and performing. Whether it’s providing exercises to strengthen the jaw, neck, shoulders, and breathing, or helping you identify and address other lifestyle factors impacting your voice.
