Compassionate physiotherapist for pain

Living with pain is exhausting. Maybe you’ve seen specialists, had scans, been told β€œeverything looks normal,” or left feeling like it’s all in your head. We’re here to listen, get curious with you, and help you find small ways to move forward that feel manageable.

At AOK Keep Moving, our physios are trained to support members with acute, chronic and persistent pain. Whether you’re dealing with daily discomfort, flare-ups, fatigue, or just feel stuck we’ll listen and meet you where you’re at.

Want a tailored plan that addresses the physical, psychological, and social aspects of persistent pain?

How our physiotherapists for pain can support you

Our physiotherapists for pain will help you understand how pain works (physically and mentally) and explore what might be contributing to it. We use an integrative approach that supports both your body, mind and nervous system.

That might include:

  • Gentle movement

  • Learning how to pace yourself during movement

  • Nervous system support

  • Pain science education that’s digestible and practical (without overwhelm)

  • Breathwork and nervous system regulation

  • Gentle strengthening and mobility without flare-ups

  • Space to feel heard, validated, and supported

Support for coexisting conditions like hypermobility, fibromyalgia, or arthritis

You don’t need to push through the pain. We’ll work with you, not against your body.

What will a session with our physiotherapist look like?

We’ll start by hearing your story e.g. what’s been going on, what’s helped (or hasn’t), and what daily life looks like for you

From there, we might explore:

  • Gentle movement or body awareness work

  • Pacing and flare-up planning

  • Breathing or nervous system strategies

  • Education on what’s happening inside your body

  • A mix of hands-on support, coaching, and practical suggestions you can use

Looking for an experienced physiotherapist to help you navigate chronic pain?

  • "I feel so supported, safe, seen and heard by you. I’m so grateful to have your support."
