Physio for hypermobility

Our experienced Physiotherapists love supporting humans with hypermobility conditions including Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and frequently related conditions such as neurodiversity, POTS, Dysautonomia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

If you’ve ever been told you’re β€œjust flexible” or β€œdouble-jointed” or that your pain is all in your head you’re not alone. Hypermobility might sound like a cool party trick, but when your joints are constantly overworking, it can feel more like chaos than control.

We see you. The bendiness, the fatigue, the invisible symptoms - let’s gently unpack it all together.

How our hypermobility physio can support you

  • Movement can feel like chaos when your joints don’t know where to land. Over time, this can lead to aches, fatigue, inflammation, and even injury. Our integrative physios use a combination of pain coaching and movement to help you build strength around your joints (gently, slowly and with control) so you can move with less pain.

We’re experts in finding the right movement solution to help your brain and body feel more connected. Bored of standard rehab exercises? We know that play and joyful movement can be just as effective. Keen on low-load, stability, or Pilates-based exercises? We’ve got you. Love the gym and want to get back to strength training? We can help with that too.

  • One day you’re doing everything, the next you’re wiped out for days.

Post-exertional fatigue isn’t laziness or lack of fitness β€” it’s a real physiological response from your body.

We’ll help you find your β€œjust right” amount of movement and sustainable build strength.

We get that β€œknowing” and β€œdoing” are two very different things. That’s why we’ll help you integrate a flare-up plan that considers any factors outside your sessions that may contribute to fatigue.

  • When your joints are unstable or unpredictable, movement can feel scary. We focus on intentional exercises to build strength, stability, proprioception, and trust in your body. Whether it’s Pilates, strength training, or finding another form of movement you enjoy, we’ll help you move in a way that feels good and safe.

Care that meets you where you’re at

Whether you’ve just learned about hypermobility or have been managing it for years, we tailor everything to your needs and at your pace.

A neurodivergent-affirming space

ADHD, autism, and hypermobility often walk hand in hand.

We regularly support hypermobile clients who are autistic, ADHDers or identify within the neurodivergent umbrella. We do our best to make our clinic inclusive, sensory-sensitive, and adaptable. Need accommodations during the session? Want to avoid bright lights or overwhelming spaces? Just let us know.

Feel free to leave your mask at the door. We love your weird, awkward, and chaotic self just as you are.

Work with our hypermobility physio

Whether you’re dealing with constant aches, mysterious fatigue, brain fog, gut issues, or joints that just don’t seem to stay where they belong. It’s not all in your head. We see you. We believe you. And we’re here to help you reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable.
